Have you ever seen a more festive diner? This is our favorite breakfast place, and they’ve been this ready for Christmas for about a month now.
We actually left the house before dawn this morning to get breakfast. On Sundays if you’re not here early you could have an hour wait for your eggs. The cathead biscuits and homemade jam are worth the line, but if you can drag yourself out of bed and avoid the rush they taste even better. Sipping coffee and sampling cinnamon donuts while the snow falls? A perfect start to Sunday.
We’re starting to get the ranch ready for the holidays, too, although nothing I do will compare to the green and red extravaganza that is The Inn on the Gallatin.
Adding even a few Christmas decorations to the cabin has made it feel merry and bright! I feel like Thanksgiving was weeks ago, I’ve so quickly switched from turkeys and pumpkins to twinkle lights and holly.
I couldn’t resist this mat for the front door. Is it wrong that I step over it because it’s too cute to get dirty?
These darling jar candles smell and look like Christmas.
We’re making the wreath for the front gate and heading out to the forest this afternoon to cut down our tree. Here is last year’s tree, if you’d like to see.
Hoping for more snow as the week continues!
